upon arrival, I was greeted by an unpleasant odor that definitely wasn't part of the hotel's charm. Not to mention, the mattress felt like sleeping on a concrete slab. I almost left a glowing review, but the lack of a complimentary room upgrade for my 'special' request really ruined my stay. I simply can't recommend this place.

The lake view from our balcony was absolutely stunning! 😍 Room was comfortable, and we enjoyed playing table tennis. However, the train noise was a bit annoying at night. Otherwise, a nice stay!

Positive, Such a charming place! Our room had an amazing lake view with a balcony. Clean and cozy accommodations. The nearby grassy patches were perfect for our dog. Didn’t try the restaurant, but the aroma was inviting. Easy access to the lake through an underground tunnel. 😊

We had a fantastic time at this family-run hotel! Our large room comfortably fit us all and had a stunning view of Lake Thunersee. The kids loved the play area, and we enjoyed playing table tennis. Nearby, we easily hopped on a bus to explore Interlaken.
For dads, it would be great if housekeeping refreshed coffee supplies daily.

The Budget Double Room was clean and spacious, with a charming old-style vibe. The view of the lake was breathtaking, especially during sunrise. However, the room had outdated decor and limited lighting. It would definitely benefit from some updates.
